Went for breakfast with friends. Able to cater for 6. Sat together, staff friendly and helpful. We could chose anything off the menu didn't have to be breakfast. Obliging to change dishes to suit tastes. I had the bagel with salmon cream cheese and smashed avocado, delish. Bagel was fresh and soft, avocado had a hint of heat. All other meals went down well. Highly recommend

A delightful cafe on the water of leith. Friendly welcoming staff. Very relaxing and comfortable. An extensive all day menu. I stopped by for some afternoon Coffee and cake after walking the water of leith. I will come back one day to try the breakfast menu. I am intrigued by the Stornaway pudding. A little gem by the shore.

This lovely cafe by the Shore is definitely a hidden gem. From the outside, I wouldn’t know this charming building is a restaurant/cafe. We had breakfast here couple weeks ago when visited Edinburgh. As soon as we walked into the door, staffs welcomed us with warm smiles.We got seated promptly. My waitress was very sweet and attentive. I liked that you can choose anything in the menu, it doesn’t have to be breakfast items. We got the avocado toasts with both choices of egg and smoked salmon and a small bread with sausage. For drinks, we got the hot chocolate, iced coffee latte and banana/strawberry smoothie. Overall, I was satisfied with my orders and service here.

Lovely little coffee place by the water. The staff here were really friendly and kind, the coffee was very good and we enjoyed the warm cosy interior. We were visiting the area, and decided to come in to shield from the cold and this place didn't disappoint.

I just visited the Clock Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The lovely owner provided very nice and accommodating service, making everyone feel at home. The cafe is perfect for families, with a warm atmosphere that welcomes all ages. The lovingly made chocolate and delicious pastries were a hit with everyone. Best wishes and greetings from Munich

This cafe is a real gem here in Edinburgh . As soon as you walk in you are greated by the smiles of lovely staff . The warmth you are received with complemented by the amazing selection on the menu . I was delighted with my selection of French toast . The food came promptly & it was some of the tastiest I have had not only in Edinburgh but in all of Scotland. This cafe is located in a prime street with lovely views . I highly recommend this place as it frequented by tourists & by locals . I will definitely be back and will be a repeat customer on weekends when I want to be treated well , with the coziest cafe you can choose . I am a foodie that goes to lots of lovely cafes Highly recommended
